Supersprint Section 1 + 2 + PE... Options?

Hey all,

I've finally got around installing SS Section 1 and 2 this morning.

It is currently mated to PE and my goodness, does it pop and gurgle.

However, it does get a bit droney on highways, (Cruising can be done without drone @ 70-80mph) but if I step on it, it will bark....

So, I am hoping it tones down just a tad bit as I put some miles on them

Do non-muffler exhaust parts get broken in too? sooth build up maybe?

Worst case, I will pick up a 135i muffler..

the "break-in" everyone tells you about is not the metal itself being "broken-in", but the ECU adjusting to your new goodies. this process takes about 250miles all together and its recommended that you refrain from any sort of full throttle pulls for the first 100 miles of this process.

the best way to let your ECU adjust is by installing each part separately and driving around for 250 miles before installing the next part. you get max gains from this.

250 miles later, (provided you didnt floor it initially) you will get the fully developed, "broken in" exhaust note.
