Wagner FMIC Install - N55

Have anyone installed one of these recently? I just installed a Wagner EVO 1 Competition FMIC and ended up having to use the black spacers between the intercooler and radiator support, but the instructions say this is not necessary for 135i and 335i. Without the spacers the stepped part of the intercooler would hit whatever is right above it.

With the spacers it seems to fit well but hangs down pretty low and rubs the belly pan.

I ran into this issue with the VSRF stepped intercooler as well. I ran the spacers and let it bow the bumper/cover a little bit.

I actually did not have this issue with my VRSF 5" stepped FMIC.

Are you running with or without the spacers?

I did not do any cutting. Wagner claims a no-cut install and doesn't mention any cutting in the instructions. There was a small plastic piece that is removed, but it pops right out w/o cutting

I installed the Wagner Evo 1 Performance in a 2012 135i and didn't even see any mention of spacers. So no spacers and it fits fine. It does hang down maybe 3/8" lower than the stock intercooler and the only way I know that is I have a funky driveway that I had to model in Autocad and model the car in Autocad. Installed ramp sections to clear the car in certain spots. Well, after the intercooler install, now it's scraping right at the intercooler. So time to redo the ramps.

You need the included spacer between the intercooler and the vehicle mount on a 135is
