For people who like to do donuts in their cars ;)

This is pretty funny, I found a video of my friend on streetfire.net that was taken back a few years ago when we were in high school. He didn't even put the video up there but someone took the time to put a sweet techno song to it and post it...so if you want to see an E30 roast the tires for ~3mins in a church parking lot take a look: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/0...2DB01AC014.htm
That car is still around too with one of our other friends and still looks sharp. That car has had a M42, M20, M50 and now a M52 in it haha. I know E90 drivers would never fathom of such chaos

No such thing as "dounts." You mean "donuts," and your link doesn't work.

The tires were shot, so he wanted to kill them off. One of the tires is hanging up in our old Autoshop class, mostly showing wires.

Hey, I thought I was the English professor around here.

Actually, Donut is a commonly accepted slang spelling. The real word is Doughnut.

Aah. The tire companies love us, don't they? His tires became glazed donuts.

For a while I was like "which is the proper spelling???" damn the English language. It's rated as the hardest language to learn. Crazy stuff.

It has been said that if you take a group of space explorers and send them on a 1000 year space mission away from earth, the generation of space travelers that return would not be able to verbally communicate intelligibly with their earth counterparts. We keep raping the English language with slang.

"Bad" means "good" in a sort of bitchin' way
"Sick" means "cool" and "cool" doesn't mean "cold"
"Uh Huh" means "yes"
"Nuh Uh" means "no"
"Aight" means "All Right"
"Get down girl, gone head, get down" means "That's the way girl, go ahead, do it"
"Gay" doesn't mean "happy" anymore
"Ghey" doesn't mean "homosexual"
yada yada yada <--- which is not even part of the english vocabulary

Wrong, first of all not many parents drive an E30 318is let alone one that had an engine swap(s). His dad had a private bmw shop back in the day so he became quite skilled with the wrench. That kid seriously can work blindfolded on those cars. He has done E36 to E30 suspension swaps, tons of engine swaps, OBDII to OBDI conversions etc. He was the one who did the majority of the S50 swap back into my old `91 318is. It sucks to hear such a comment when someone puts tons of time into cars and has fun playing around with them.

Ha. I love this subject. Zep, you will like these on a bookmarked page of mine:

Reasons why the English language is so hard to learn:
1) The bandage was wound around the wound.
2) The farm was used to produce produce.
3) The dump was so full that it had to refuse more refuse.
4) We must polish the Polish furniture.
5) He could lead if he would get the lead out.
6) The soldier decided to desert his dessert in the desert.
7) Since there is no time like the present, he thought it was time to present the present.
8) A bass was painted on the head of the bass drum.
9) When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes.
10) I did not object to the object.
11) The insurance was invalid for the invalid.
12) There was a row among the oarsmen about how to row.
13) They were too close to the door to close it.
14) The buck does funny things when the does are present.
15) A seamstress and a sewer fell down into a sewer line.
16) To help with planting, the farmer taught his sow to sow.
17) The wind was too strong to wind the sail.
18) After a number of injections my jaw got number.
19) Upon seeing the tear in the painting I shed a tear.
20) I had to subject the subject to a series of tests.
21) How can I intimate this to my most intimate friend?

Also:

How is it that a building burns up as it burns down?

If a pig loses its voice, is it disgruntled?

If corn oil comes from corn, where does baby oil come from?

If horrific means to make horrible, does terrific mean to make terrible?

If laughter is pronounced lafter, shouldn't daughter be pronounced dafter?

If people from Poland are called Poles, why aren't people from Holland called Holes?

Tons more here: http://www.angelo.edu/faculty/kboudr...p3_english.htm
