Sorry for the late welcome. Welcome and congrats on a "last of it's kind" car. Good luck with your build. Love the Coral Red btw. Had it in my first 135i. Still miss it.

Wheels are in! VMR V710 Gunmetal! Also have another set of wheels on the way. Will keep those a surprise until they arrive. Didn't have any intention of buying another set of wheels + the V710's. A buddy of mine decided he wanted to go another direction and sold me the set for $400. Couldn't say no aha. Wheels/Tires go on this week along with the Exhaust System to be named soon and then it's on to the next round of mods.

VMR V710 + Michelin Pilot Super Sports going on now baby. Also going to get the BMW Performance Exhaust System installed. Yup, getting it done at 10:00pm in the evening. Got home after work and going at it. Buddy of mine is going to do the Tint on the driver and passenger side glass to match the rear Tint. Then getting this thing washed and a full detail with paint corrections. Then we will do a legit photo shoot.

So far..

Stage 1 of mods (1 of 6 stages)
AFE Stage 2 CF Cold Air Intake
AFE Headers
VMR V710 Gunmetal
Michelin PSS Tires
New TPMS
BMW Performance Exhaust System
LUX H8 Angel Eyes
BMW Black Kidney Grilles
Windows Tinted

Next up...
Ordering a front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, diffuser, cf trunk spoiler, and cf hood...

Doing exterior body work and then have a bunch of interior goodies, performance parts, and a tune in transit that will be a surprise

Here we go..

Looking good! I love the gunmetal wheels on Jet Black paint -- but I may be biased!

Ha me too. I got the gunmetal because I'm in talks now with a local company to get a full wrap when I'm done with exterior mods... Can you say "Frozen Gray Metallic?"

About to take some shots of the car. Wheels and tires are on. Took it out for a solid 30 miles or so. Beautiful ride. Tires are grippin and driving great. Concave... so damn concave. Wheels look perfect. The VMR V710 were made for the E82. Exhaust System is also in. Sounds great. Perfect amount of volume. It's loud, with great growl and burbles and pops in downshifts. Wasn't sure how the BMW Performance Exhaust + midpipes would turn out but it is just right. Buddy that stopped over to do the Tint drove his baby over. Beautiful blue i8. Oh and for the Tint. Doing Crystalline 70% on the front windshield. Doing 20% Ceramic for the rest of the car. Going to look tight. Pics of the i8 until I get these shots of the car.

Like last post. Front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, rear diffuser, cf trunk spoiler and cf hood are all in transit. Have some interior upgrades/goodies and an AA tune in route as well. Keep plugging along.

The i8 looks great! Your buddy's lucky plus he's a good guy to do your tint. What's he charging you? A couple of 6-packs and the price of material? Haha

Glad you're liking the PE. Looking forward to seeing the Performance parts on your 1er.

Nice to have friends like that!

The movie sounds like fun! I love those alien movies but I'm not much of a movie theater goer anymore. I'll wait for it to come on demand. Enjoy!

Ha me too. I usually stream new movies or wait for on demand. The movie tavern is nice though because they have huge leather recliners, full bar and restaurant. Push a button on your seat and a waiter comes at any time to take an order or refill your beer ha.

Looking real clean! Here's some update pics. Didn't want to rush the Tint so we're doing that this week when the exterior body parts come in. Next up is the following..

Front Bumper
Side Skirts
Rear Bumper
CF Diffuser
CF Trunk Spoiler
BMW Performance Steering Wheel + Trim
BMW Performance Pedals
BMW Performance Shifter and Boot
CF Interior Trim Panels
Smoked SideMarkers
AA Stage 2 Tune

Once this round of mods is done. Have a large order in transit of more goodies. Just keep plugging along.

Looks good so far. Might be worth buying new sidemarkers, yours look quite yellow. I was in the same boat and couldn't believe how much of a difference $30 made considering you see them everytime you walk up to the car, especially on black.

Same page brotha! Told you! Ha, such a HUGE difference for the cheapest of the cheap mods. Maybe the best/cheap mod you can do.
