128i Cosmetic DIY mod & OEM+ retrofit list

Just want a place to share some of the ideas & mods that are specific to e82/e88 128i /125i.

My goal with all these ideas was to keep it as BMW OEM as possible. Initially I wanted to post these as my own complete DIY's, but new a job has meant less time.

These mods will most likely require some DIY skills to modify the parts to fit.

** DISCLAIMER: I have done my best to ensure that these are at least feasible through 1:1 scale photo shops that I will try to share as much as possible. If you believe i have made severe error in feasibility please correct me.**

As I attempt some of these mods, I will update with instructions. Also, I encourage everyone to add their own.

Front: Brake ducts via Sink drain mod - inspired by e39 m5 & e36 m3 and some e46 m3
**Can be made functional for BMP/135i BBK over heating control!!**
Instructions: Take 4" bit, measure twice, drill out hole, secure "drain"

Cost: $10-$50 at hardware stores
Part numbers: Plastic Speaker vent $5 x2, Sink drain $10 x2 & dremmel, $40 HALO Recessed lighting rings Part# HALO 999SL, you just need the 999 portion because SL is the finish code

Front: Brake ducts BMW via F10 M Sport front grille - inspired by F10
**Can be made functional for BMP/135i BBK over heating control!!**
Instructions: Either cut away excess from F10 grille to fin inside opening OR think of way to attach behind bumpber
Look at lower grille:

Cost: 100$ total via Tisher/getbmwparts

Front: e87 M Sport BMP splitters ( replica)
