I never ended up getting one. I transitioned jobs and as a result I have been only able to make it to the track once this entire season. You know I love the bar but not sure I am willing to spend the $1800 at this time. I am surprised you still have it. $1800 is a very good pricing for this.

fastauto I hope you get to make it out a couple times later this season, especially with Octoberfest being on this area of the country. I too am also surprised that the bar is still around at this price. Cheers, Art

@Splinterz88 I am not going to be able to make Oktoberfest but a lot of my friends will be down there instructing for the DE and running the track event. I have a Porsche that I show in a concours settings and that trumps the octoberfest event for me. I am thinking my next event will be nasas last event at njmp. You going to that one?

I believe it is a fitment issue as VAC designed this bar first and then came out with another version for 1 series with sunroofs. The non sunroof version is slightly taller than the sunroof.

This bar is completely bolt in. The rear bolts into the rear seat anchor bolts. The front plate has a second plate that bolts underneath the car. The 2 plates sandwich the floor pan with 4 bolts. No welding is required.
