Amber delete (hiding) when lights on

I've seen several pictures taken of the 1er from the front, with the Halos on but the amber (outer) lights off. It looks great! I put on the vinyl overlays and it looks good from certain angles. Problem is, as soon as I turn on the halos (Auto mode during the day) the orange reflector/turn signal lights up as well! And you can see orange just pouring out of there.

I'm wondering how people have the halos on and not the amber light

I was thinking of changing the orange bulb (clear? chrome?) in there, which looks orange even with everything off, that way the overlays actually cover all that is orange.

If I could do this and not have the orange lights on with the halos on, I would be a happy camper. I like the way the overlays look, but as soon as I turn any lights on orange again!

Help!

They have them coded to be "off" - that is how.

Hook up with your Regional member meets. I know sometimes we have coders available at our local meets. GL

Best bet is to try and find someone who can do coding in your area... Try searching you're regional forum

The turn signals would still be visible when blinking orange, right?
