To carbon or not for lip, if you like your window chrome
Aesthetically, does carbon look good if you have chrome trim & kidneys???

Well it depends really. What carbon bits are you looking at besides the lip? hood, roof, trunk, interior, mirrors, diffuser? If it's just the lip, it would seem a bit off. However, if say you had carbon grills and lip BUT also kept the chrome window trim and had rims with a chrome/silver dish finish, that could work pretty well I think. Here's an example of chrome window trim with the rims I'm referring to. |

yes @ finch, where abouts are you?
As far as carbon I am not sure because I dont plan on changing rims yet, love the 135i chrome grilles and im not happy with replica BMP spoilers. i just know if I go dark/carbon grilles it will be down hill from there and my trim will be next. So for now I aim to be different then the usual black and blue. The decision is related to my other thread on e87 spliters and lips on 128i. Trying to innovate.
