actual output 128/328

it's pretty well recognized that the n54(135/335) is underrated. does any one know if the 128/328 motor is also underrated and if so by how much? i know there is actual dyno data for the n54 but i'm not aware if anyone has done the same for the n52.

actually i did the same myself after i posted the question and also came up blank. oh well, bottom line same as u i'm gonna look at both the 128 and 135 when the time comes.

Here's a Dyno for a 325i. It's making about 200 hp at the wheels. I would expect a 128i to make around 205-210hp @ the wheels with about the same tq. since it's the same size engine.

Same engine. If E90 325i is getting 200 WHP out of a 215 SHP engine, then it might be reasonable to assume that the 128/328 get 215 WHP out of the 230 SHP application.
