Well around 20-25 people are probably going to need 19" tires. Hopefully we can get another groupbuy going for that.
I'm also thinking 225/35/19 for the front and 255/30/19 for the back. Anyone have opinions on Hankook tires. These are going to be my summer wheels so I'm looking for summer tires that are non RFT's. -Dave |

Im thinking Continental Extreme contact DW or Goodyear eagle asymmetric, although I'm concerned about the goodyears treadwear... I keep hearing that the hankooks have really soft sidewalls which is keeping me from jumping at those... here are the reviews for all of them..

I think we have to look at the rears first because there are alot less tires if we look there first. For example when I looked to see if Hankook makes their v12 in the rears for the size we need (255/30/19) they don't have it there on tirerack.
I'm thinking maybe the Yokohama S drive tires might be the way to go. -Dave |

there is a lot more tire options in size 255/35/19... its closer to rubbing issues however..
For me, since i have a drop, i will be a lot more picky about sizing..

Romak I'm on the same boat since I will have a mild drop on kw v2 by the time the wheels are put on my car. I definitely want a plug and play fitment even after being dropped slightly

35 series in the rear will throw off gearing a tad. I'd love to run a 265/30/19 rear I will have Eibach Pro Shocks & Springs installed by the time wheels get here. I wonder what the chances of 265's not rubbing will be? Probably slim to none, I guess...lol

So while we're waiting...I've been hitting google trying to find a picture of a crimson 135i convert with 19'' CSL style rims. Have you guys even seen a 135i coupe with 19's in Crimson red?

From my experiences with tires including with my 135, if I were in this groupbuy and my car was lowered I'd buy Toyo T1R's. I'd bet 235/35fr and 265/30r would fit but I'd go for 225/35 and 255/30s my first set.

Any reason on why toyo? Do they have a strong sidewall? Known for limiting rubbing issues ?

i'm totally down for toyo T1R, in fact, that's the tires gonna put on these rims too. Toyo tires is well known for rounded side wall, and pretty good in rain and wet. only downside is, treadwear..... i still miss the T1S......
