I bet it's easy to check if a tire rubs with the air suspension... just drop it down in the garage. The rest of us chumps with coil springs have to go find a bump to drive over to find out if there is rub!

In addition to ATF change earlier in the week, did a brake fluid flush, oil change and rear M guide arms.

I wasn't going to bother with the arms as they are a slight improvement but not cheap. I found the pair for $150 so did it.

*edit I think a pin/pigtail part number is 61130005197. Gonna order a couple of those and hope for the best.

Got wires, pulled switch out and looking at the connector ... pin #6 has a wire in it.

Trying to figure out what to call these things so Google gives me what I'm looking for *sigh. Not really getting anywhere.

Far as coding goes,
I found a LWR in 2 places, and turned both off.
No perceptible change I can see sitting still. Maybe I just don't understand what is supposed to happen; I've never seen video of how it works or even any mention of it.

Finally changed my original battery from 2008, put in some fresh Motul + a Mann, installed a new 3rd brake light for the 4th time in 3 years, and decided to add a matte black 135i emblem.

My original third brake light has 2 cracks in it now but is still hanging in there. I have a spare for when it finally decides to let go. Gonna see how long it lasts. lol

Have you guys found a source for the 3rd brake light that is reasonably priced? Thinking that might be something to inventory in case they quit being readily available.

I bought mine back in June from ECS. I paid $100.54. Probably not the best deal. Now it's $95.78. I think chadillac2000 has the right idea getting it from fcpeuro.com with their lifetime warranty.

Thanks. I'm amazed they would extend that warranty to something you can crack by slamming your trunk. But it generates sales.
