Well, then. Have any reasonable sources for the Euro PI? I already have the box and an AFE Pro Dry.

Andrey is right, not much in the way of reasonable sources for that one. I ended up snagging it off a fellow forum member who had it for sale for a year. Paid about half of new and had to fabricate my own gasket for the cabin pipe highlighted in this thread.

The performance intake is a fun piece, but I don't think I would pay the list $1200 for it.

It's part of the BMW Performance intake.

Visible in the top right coming out of the airbox and routing through the hood gasket.

Did you get a complete eurobox w/ lid? Did you compare Euro box with/ without Perf Lid& snorkle?

Nope, purely to focus intake noise toward the cabin for the placebo effects of making you think the 1-2hp you gain with an intake(if that) are much larger.

I put a big hole in my firewall and now I can enjoy the six banger all the time. Handling went to hell because of flex but...............BTW, don't know what it is.
