Acquisition fees are normal and so are disposition fees for BMW. But I'm pretty sure BMW will wave the disposition fee if you lease another vehicle at the end of your current lease.

I ended up financing the car at 3.9% instead of leasing. The money factor of .0029 they were offering was simply too high (6500 in interest over 3 years!!!), and I was able to put down 20k up front so the monthly payments are pretty close to the lease payment I was offered. At this point I'll be paying approximately 1400 in interest instead over the term of the loan, and I think if I want to sell the car after 3 years I'll come out ahead.

Leaving for Munich next weekend!!

.0029 is higher than BMWFS will even allow them to charge. I'm pretty sure they only have 4bp of flexibility which would make it .0027 at the most. These are pretty shady dealers it seems.

They were claiming another .03 for Euro Delivery (Because BMWFS makes one payment on a ED car) and .03 for mark up. I just wasn't comfortable with that.

They will charge you for registration and a doc prep fee. Both are in the $180 range but could vary from dealer to dealer. Destination is a fixed cost included in the MSRP. My fees totaled less than $450 I think.

Nice! The tint looks great! A bit darker than I plan to go though. I can't remember... did you get comfort access? If so, any troubles after tinting? Is Llumar ceramic?

Llumar is not ceramic and I skipped out on CA. I think Huper Optik is the one that messes up the CA signal but I could be wrong.

I am debating between Llumar or carbon tinting (non-metallic). Worried about fading etc. Your car looks F'n sweet...love the tint. I am definately going 20-25%. Thanks for the pics.

I drove by BMW (2 blocks from my house) after work (1am) yesterday and saw my car sitting there waiting for me to get her this afternoon!!!

Fading of the tints or the interior of the car? I've had Llumar on cars for 4+ years and it looked the same after 4 years as it did the day it was tinted. Tinting is also relatively inexpensive (mine cost me $160) so if it fades after 5 years I would just get fresh film put on.

It's probably closer to $300 for ceramic.

My tint guy is a friend of my brothers so I just pay him for his time.

I just got back from the dealer. Signed all the papers. It's now mine! I just have to wait another two weeks to pick it up. It's going to feel like forever!

I almost feel like canceling the damn thing.
