I have rubber mats.. and the heels of my shoes always turn black due to rubbing between the rubber mats and the heel.

Do carpet mats do the same thing? If not, I might order a set.

The carpet mats will probably start wearing thin and get shiny and holey

I just picked up a set too. I have 1m mats but never used them figuring they would become obsolete and it would be a good selling point one day. I can hang onto the originals now and use the new ones!

Lol, this is now my second "backup" set. I'm turning into a floor mat hoarder. I also have rubber winter mats.
