This may be a stupid question...but advice needed?
So flame suit on....... I'm not familiar with these cars like most of you guys. A couple weeks ago I swapped out my rear differiential.
So today after driving home out of habit I guess, I got under the car just to visually look at everything like the drain plug, etc. I heard this noise that sounded like a tiny air compressor or pump running. I traced it to the passenger side rear, and just got started looking around and it then abruptly quit on its on.....kind of like a pump raising something to a certain level, then cycling off. This was within minutes of turning the car off. Is it a pump priming itself...maybe fuel pump.....something else? Just curious. I was thinking at first it sounded like a magnetic suspension shock adjusting itself. Any explanation is welcome. Thanks!
