This has so got to sell
To own #1 is something special
I'd be all over it if I didn't already have a VO in my garage

Best of luck with the sale
I think it'll have a very lucky new owner

Any signs of rust in the undercarriage since you mentioned snow tires and being from upstate NY? Spent 4 years at UR and I know the weather. It will snow till late May.

The car is in good shape. It always has been garaged and I drive it 9 miles to work on the 33. My biggest miles are one trip to Vermont or Atlanta to see my children each year. It is a great highway car. Plug in your phone, adjust the lumbar support, snug up the side bolsters and drive. I still have people taking pictures with their iPhone on the highway. I think some of it is that I'm a 72 year old female but most of it is the car. If I had not hurt myself and were not contemplating retiring in Vermont I would keep the car as my original plan was.
Actually the winters here have been surprisingly mild for the last few years. If it's really bad weather I have enough personal days to stay home if they don't close the schools. Actually with snow tires it handles very well. It's not a garage queen and I hope whoever buys it really enjoys it and drives it. I do have a BMW trailer hitch with a special receiver that I used for a small tire trailer for autocrossing. When I realized I was not going to track this car and stopped autocrossing I was going to take it off. My son, who restores old BMWs, said to leave it on because it does protect the under carriage somewhat. Anyway, if someone is interested send me a message and i'll give you my phone number. It's a great car and I've enjoyed my little antisocial monster car tremendously. I've had a e36 and an e46 M3, which were both highly modified, and this is by far the best. I never felt the need to modified this one. I've always owned sports cars but lifr changes.

Yes, I used to autocross. I had the trailer special built 3 m cars ago. The tailer held my tires and had a special box for my jack and tools. I had to get a special European ball mount with a US ball to have the correct height for the balance of the trailer tong.

That's awesome indeed. So the hitch can come off fairly easily I presume? I'm in the process of unloading a e46 m3 and this is on my radar. In centra NJ so not far at all.

The hitch will come off easily. It is essentially a 1 series hitch. When I had a e46 M3 my son had to fa bricate a hitch for it. That was hard. The trailer is a great idea and really saves the interior of your car. I had it made in 1998. I gave it to my son last year. I had 14 inch wheels and could travwel at highway speeds I tracked straight and put no stress on the cars.
