It honestly blows my mind. I practice a simple mantra while driving: don't force others to alter their speed or path because of your actions. Literally no one else on the road understands the common courtesy behind it.

Infuriating...
Usually not a problem in the 135i. The N55 under full boost is potent enough to pass most traffic out there, even when they're gunning it.

True we have the power to pass, but it's still rude and infuriating, and totally unnecessary on their part.

In my '89 E30 vert, plenty of folks want to drive up on me; I figure they like looking at a relative classic. I've gotten coal-rolled in it several times. No worries, I get their plate and call it in, glad they showed their skilz to me instead of a cyclist. But the E30's air "filter" at about 8,000 microns lets in all the smoke; if I can't pass a stinker I wanna drop back about 200 feet.
I had to look up what coal rolling is, those people are stupid.

The color of my car is a factor, Crimson red... I am more than happy to let people pass me. But in the 'burbs of Atlanta, people are douchebags.

My car isn't a 135i, but it is loud as hell and isn't that slow, so it gets some attention. I usually am on the faster side of traffic, but I do get the occasional rival who wants to be fastest in group. I just let them go most of the time. I don't mind people passing me, but I hate when they road rage. Funny enough, most ragers who get mad at me are in pickup trucks and police cars. Don't know why, guess they haven't heard raw power before I haven't seen a difference between the cars I have owned, but that is probably because they have all been loud. Something to be noted: The BMW is the only car of mine to get keyed, and it wasn't even because of my driving as it had been sitting parked for a while when I came to pick it up with the lovely new art on the side. To depressed fuckhead who vandalized my car: Jealousy is a disease, get well soon bitch

My daughter used to live in Atlanta and I helped her move twice. Pulling a big U-haul trailer in suburban Atlanta traffic was not much fun at all. I agree with your perspective of the other drivers.
