Angel Eyes as DRL’s
Is there a way to keep them on all the time? I tried coding them thru Carly but they still shut off when the car’s running.

mine is a 2010, its on all the time. so there must be a way to code them in.
when on auto, it senses if the AEs must only be on or also the xenons. then there's off, but the AE's are on, and then like park, i am guessing, which the are on but dimmer and then headlights on, AE's on and xenons on. Good luck! |

Thanks. I most likely need to code it properly. I think Carly got it mainly as DRL’s. |

Have mine coded as DRLs with or without the lows on.
Have to set corona rings to always on, and as running lights/safety lights. Cant remember what carly calls it. Then you have to set everything else to off. Also turn off cornering lights and turn signals as drl as that screws up everything. Keep in mind I believe a few options are present in 2 of the ECUs, so dig through everything. If you don't set the option everywhere possible, it wont work. There used to be some tail-light settings that would glitch the rings as DRL settings. If you can't get it functional, check those. Also, don't miss the voltage option! Crank it up and enjoy bright rings.

Yeah I was messing with the tail light settings too. I’ll turn those off. Thank you for the help. |

It only turns on when I unlock the car then turns itself off. Won't turn on no matter what I do. Any help would be appreciated. I turned all other lights as DRL on Carly. Do I need to do anything in the car settings?

This is how I activated my angel eyes as DRLs on my 2008 135i without i-Drive.

Try turning them off then back on to see if that fixes the problem.

In carly the option for "DRL sidemarkers" and "Corner LEDs" worked for me, although I'm a halogen retrofit with Depo v2

I'll try it. Wouldn't hurt. Flashed it super quick but didn’t get a chance to test it coz of the rain. I’ll check it when I get home and report back.

Turns out it’s the bulbs that are faulty. I tried to wire it directly to the battery and it only turns on for 5-10 seconds then turns off.
