As suggested in the past: would have been a kinda cool statement if BMW would have made available the 1M in the three ///M colors only: pick your fave ///M color.
Maybe it crossed their minds for an instance during development, but were uncertain whether the 1M would be accepted by the market and car journalists as "worth" to sport the ///M badge (marketing misfire). The 1M project was a gamble with uncertainty re success. As we all know by now, it turned out beyond best expectations (hence production increase last Summer at the Leipzig plant): there is indeed a very fertile market for a pocket-rocket "Baby M". Top - No flop. Colors: Camp Blue, count me in.

+1003, blue would've been my #1 choice. If I do jump on the manual F10 M5, it'll be blue for sure (either the MC, or perhaps an individual), would've been cool to have a stable full of blue cars, I know, I know, I have issues.
 But, admittance is the first step to recovery...
