Alice's AW 1 Series M Coupe

I finally have it!!!!!!!

Better than I ever could have imagined. For all of those sceptical about the exhaust sound from the videos that have been posted - it is VERY difficult to capture a realistic impression of the noise it makes. I haven't heard a video that does it justice yet. The video of the VO in Monaco is probably the closest. It is a deep burble that is just perfect! Under acceleration it sounds fantastic!

When the akrapovic comes out, I may be tempted though ....

I was worried that I wasnt going to be "wowed" and that it would feel too tame, and more similar to a 135 than an M car.
I definitely had no need to be concerned.

Compared to the test drive I had in a 135, I dont think it compares. The torque and suspension and general feel of the 1M is far superior in my eyes..

I purchased my black BMW performance kidney grills whilst up at my dealer, so I will post more pics once I have fitted them. Just a shame I am going away on the 16th so cant enjoy my car more

I will leave you will a few pictures I have taken so far.

To all of you that have a bit longer to wait - dont worry - it will be worth it in the end.

It was definitely worth paying my horrific insurance for!

Added a quick video of a cold start - I used my iPhone 4 (sorry about the quality), and my mum started the car and decided to blip the throttle at the end!

@gs/e60/1m? Its what we have in Guernsey. All numbers! starting from number 1 up to 5 digits now

Our bailiff has number 1. You will pay around £15,000 for a 3 digit number and about £60,000 for a 2 digit then £100,000 plus for a 1 digit!
