Custom MHD tunes in Melbourne
Who do people use for customer e-tunes or dyno tunes in Melbourne these days.
I recently sold my 09 135i that had FMIC + Exhaust and custom cobb tune by PTF. I bought another one with VTT Stage 2 Hybrid, catless AR DPS, the same 5" ETS FMIC and mid-pipe cat deletion and custom quad exhaust. The only thing is it uses OTS MHD maps, and it feels... laggier and not as punchy. So I want a new custom map done.. maybe the OTS don't work that well with the modified turbos'? Unfortunately PTF don't do e-tunes for the N54 anymore :-( |

BQ Tuning
Twisted tuning V8 Bait Trebilla Wedge Performance Motiv to name just a few but a quick search will reveal others Any of the above can assist with an eTune. You'll need to be able to log so find a private road/racetrack and have at it.

Thanks All. I might speak to Nizpro then, as I think I went close to ending up in jail last time I did tuning runs.....

How does one tell the difference between a tune that makes power to a tune that's on the edge of grenadine an engine?

More than 3 degrees pull in one cylinders or more that don't recover is likely detonation.
If you are running 10 degree adv on pump fuel your going fry a piston. If your lpfp is under 50psi it will start to crash if your hpfp is under 1000psi your hpfp will crash. There's heaps I only know a few. |
