LED Interior Dome Light Issues
So I have the interior LED kit that F1 Autohaus sold a while ago.
THey were working perfectly before without any errors and no flickering. Problem is now the center dome light, (the middle of the car, not the front dome), has decided to not work while the car's engine is running. It will work while the car is in on mode and not with the engine running, however, once the car starts, it will slowly dim out and not turn on. The front dome has no issues and still works perfectly. Any ideas of what could be wrong and how to properly remedy it? Thanks! |

I could see the problem being a few things:
1. Sounds like one of the resistors may have failed. You could remove the bulb, and if anything is melted/burnt/charred, then there's a possibility it is due to a blown resistor. 2. Perhaps the bulb has become lose. Try unconnecting and reconnecting it. If reconnecting doesn't work, then you need a new bulb. HighPerformanceBulbs.com, ModMy3, e92-Lighting, etc. all offer canbus domes. |

If you are looking to get a replacement I would highly recommend these for a cleaner look:
