Cheap coilovers to hold me over?

Hey all, So I have been dumping money in to this 135i I bought as a project. Just getting it on the road and I noticed the front struts are pretttyyyyy shot. I’m going to go with a set of fully adjustable coilovers down the road but they just aren’t in the budget for this season. So the question to you is should I spring for a cheap set of coilovers like the JOM blue line or save the 100 bucks and just replace the oem struts up front. I’ve got a 135i with the msport suspension and would I’m looking to do a couple track days this year....so what ya think?

If you don't have the time and money to do it right, you better have the time and money to do it twice.

I'd be shocked if a $400 coilover set wasn't horrible. You might end up hurting performance and certainly ride quality.

Save your money now and save up a quality set.

If you do your own work, you may be able to get away with it. if you have to do the work twice, you are better spending the money on a decent set of coilovers now or just Struts and shocks. Koni struts and shocks can be had for $6xx right now.

Why not source low mile factory struts for now?

Have a pair of TCK SA front coils equipped with swift springs, thrust sheets, and camber plates that I can have your way for $550.

Cheap for a legit front suspension setup.
