Procede V3 help

Hello all,

Just trying to install my brand new procede v3 unit,

On installation I get the following codes in decimal:

12496 - 1b770
12544 - 3100

12544 makes sense, but I can't find anything on 12496. I did the full reset (counting back from 11) after I calibrated the unit to my 280 kph speedo.

I connected my laptop to the procede unit and that's how I was able to pull these codes. I tried my hand held scanner but it didn't report any codes.

I've checked that all the harness' seem to be connected, and that I don't have two arrows showing on the same side. I tried reseating the connection to the procede multiple times, and am pulling power from pin 8 and not pin 3.

I have the relays to run FFS/Methanol, but am waiting for my methanol kit before installing them.

Half engine light appears after 10 seconds or so on start up. I get the normal stuff, my little display seems to go wonky (Procede initializing?) then seat belt light comes on, then the half engine symbol.

From what I read, the connector modules should only go in one way, and they are colour coded on this harness, so I don't think I screwed that up. Plugs are seated into the ECU.

Only thing I could think of maybe, is that this car has a dinan stage 2 flash on it currently.

was just purchased and shipped from vishnu, so I hope v5 rev3?

Wrapper had 'aggressive' written on it. I'm not sure if this relates to meth, or the base tune.

Looking at their website, I wonder if going to the 7-29 v5 autotune map/firmware would be worth trying.

Yeah that would be the latest.

Don't use the 7-29 as those doesn't have the latest aggressive mapping, but I suppose you could try it to see if the error is still there.

But you should use the latest map, I haven't had the procede in a while not sure what version is at now. (11-25 or 3-13 i think).

Will give it a shot in the morning. One hell of a day I wanted to end on a happy note (procede install!!! followed up with bolt ons arriving tomorrow) but this headache has left me a little drained.

Next question, Is it possible to backup and revert the DME to a stock calibration?

Not sure I want to go to the dealer and raise eyebrows by asking them to remove my dinan flash.

I know the feeling - I had my fair share of troubles, it is all worth it once you get your car all sorted out!

That I don't know, hopefully someone can chime in!

I think if you set it to map 0 its basically a stock tune. I just installed mine last week so I'm still learning everything about it
