SSTT: Any problems AT ALL?
Okay, I've searched the forum and done research and have decided I will probably get SSTT. Pretty cheap, good performance upgrade, and easy to install.
I am curious, however, about people having any problems with it. I cannot find any posts on it when I searched, so has anyone had a problem related to the SSTT? |

Not really. Although I got a check engine light twice so far. Just a issue thats fixed/reset as soon as my cars turned off. I am doing a final test tomorrow to see if its related to a full fuel tank. I think thats when it happened the last 2 times.

Ya mine might not even be related to my SSTT. It might be the HPFP failing when theres more pressure in the tank or something. I'll try to reproduce it tomorrow after I fill up on the way to work. It happens in 6th gear, lower rpms, WOT.

Been running SSTT for last 7000 miles, with no problems or codes. Car runs great on our UK 99 octane fuel and the K&N drop-in really helps the top end power compared to the stock air-filter.

It's been in for about two weeks now and went through a track day at Infineon this past weekend with no problems. My one complaint is that I'm getting worse mileage now because it seems to have made my right foot a little heavier (ok, a LOT heavier).

I can tell you first hand, I picked up the SSTT on a 400 mile trip. Installed it in a parking lot and I have since tested all types of accelerating at different engine speeds. 6th gear 1000rpm-7000rpm and full throttle in 1st, 2nd. So far I have not had any problems at all except that my runflats are almost gone. I have the very laggy software but the latest model HPFP. If anything goes wrong I will be sure to complain...
