Thanks for a great day guys, I had an awsome time. Vinnie, no worries about the radio mate. I've always got both in the car if any of you guys want to use it next time. Holy Shit Warren, I'm sure Vinnie told me your car was a 125 but it only really just sank in. That thing of yours goes hard!!! I couldn't beleive how many cops were out there. That unmarked GTI scared the crap out of me. Thank god for slow Subi's.... Can't wait for the next one.

Great day out good to meet more bmw drivers plenty of cops around i thought i was gone after we left murwillumbah i come flying into a corner and 2 police cars came out of the side street i hit the anchors but i thought it was too late as i was going too fast and just looked back waiting for the blue lights too come on but they pulled over just behind me, shit saved again.
At the border guys were the police taking names down on there pad or something like that as they waved me through.

Hey Richard I honestly thought that the other 4 fellas were well and truly ahead of us, so I just continued on as quick as I could go amongst the slower traffic. I eventually realised that you had dropped off, so I slowed down at that point, thinking that your puppy wanted a comfort break. I was trying to call you on the radio but got no answer, and even now I don't know if you had a working radio or not? I hope the dog is OK now.

All in all I thought that we had a fantastic day. So thanks to Warren for organising the drive, and to Anthony for leading the way back. Pity that there were so many cops around there at that time. Gary I did see those cops in my rear view mirror and thought that they had pulled someone else over.

Haha yeah Warren I thought you might have thought that, turns out the other Warren had my mobile and he called me to tell us to stop over so they could catch up! Didn't find out the puppy puked till after we pulled over, don't think she liked the 'erratic' driving says Jessica... ahaha

Anthony, I reckon Warren actually has a 135i, just took the badges off and put the 125 bumper on to fool us in thinking he is an awesome driver?

Lol this has already crossed my mind. I'll plan on double checking his rego sticker next time I see his car just to make sure in case it is a 135i!

Good to hear everyone had a good time. Glad we all found each other in the end. Damn learner drive at the end, ruined our little spirt through the twisties. Cops really scared the crap out me especially since I was the pack leader, also didn't like the fact that I was asked for my licence, ownership, rego.....

Anthony mate, your car is gorgeous, love those black wheels

I guess everyone has finally caught onto my sleeper 135i haha Thank for all the compliments, the car does well to stay with it's bigger siblings. Richard,hope the dog was ok, rollercoaster ride in that bag of it's. Wonder who's turn it is to plan the next one

I was reading all the comments about the police presence and it's not really that surprising.

Forgetting for a moment the operations you saw on the weekend were scheduled/ business as usual, it's well known that police will view forums like this one and if they read about an organised drive they may decide to set up accordingly. Worth bearing in mind.

That aside, reads like you guys had a good run (puppy puking(?) aside!), hopefully I can make it along to the next one

I only managed to get a couple shots which weren't that great... Will post tonight.

I think next time we go out, we need to find somewhere cool for photos, early morning or late afternoon.

Any news on a another Brisbane cruise? I'd organise it if I knew of some good roads but this was my first cruise myself lol. Had heaps of fun though, it would be good to catch up with everyone and take the 1er out for a nice spirited run.

I think Rowdy is organising once he got back from his in laws? He's going to explore the range area. If we go up from Mt Glorius and back down from the highway, that won't be much different to a NSW trip.
