IPhone 5 and dictation

Just fixed it. The archive box in the file properties has to be unchecked. The software is updated now. Will I only see email when new one comes in? Currently I cannot see any "read" Email in my car. Thanks for the help.

this is my first car with idrive and the same for me, only shows new message and new emails

I was in the car all day and did not get a single email or message through idrive. I could hear the email notification alert tone, but nothing shows on the message screen of the car.

on your iphone you need to go to bluetooth and find the BMW bluetooth connection, then tap on the info button and turn on "show notifications"

when you get a email or message there should be a little mail icon on the top of the idrive screen, which you can read on screen or get the message read out in the "office menu"

i hope this helps, i'm still figuring out my idrive

I did previously already. I am going to "forget the device" and pair it again and see if it makes a difference.
