Exclamation M3 front control arms kit from FCP Euro currently NA

Doing a bit of shopping to see what I might want to do next and noticed the M3 front control arm kit is currently "not for sale" at FCP Euro. Asked them why and got this back, so FYI:

Quote:
That would be a temporary supply issue. According to our BMW catalog manager, two of the arms in that kit are no longer being produced and have since been recalled due to later production issues. We're currently working on finding a viable alternative so that kit will be unavailable in the mean time.

FWIW the kit is still listed over on ECS but I think it looks like the price jumped up.

No kidding. They want as much for the fronts only as FCP wants for front AND rear (if, that is, they were available).

If I were about to buy, I'd also want to know more about the recall and quality issues FCP refers to first.

when I contacted FCP, they told me it was just a supply issue and that it would come back eventually. But seeing your response from them, I really hope genuine bmw doesn’t end up being the only option
