So I owned a 2011 v6 Mustang for almost five years and modded it over time. I switched from a Bama tune to an MPT tune which was done much better. However, I would say a fully modded (na) v6 with 3.73 gears with equal drivers would give a slight edge to the v6 mustang. If he has 3.31 or even worse 2.73 gears, he is no match for you. When I say FBO, I mean, intake, ported manifolds, hiflow/catless and full exhaust, plus 3.73 gears, better tires and suspension and custom tuning. Thats a lot of work to keep up with a 135i. I did t for the fun of it.
As for the 5.0, depending on the year, you will have a better chance beating the newer ones over the 11-14 ones. But i still think it' doable stock vs stock. I surpised many 5.0s with my little angry 3.7 Mustang. Im not sure what I will be doing to the 135is. |
