Got my AW 135i today, already have BMW Performance Grilles and CF wing on order! Any one interested in a mirror swap???

Wow, those mirrors look terrible from the front. They don't look so bad from the side. I'm going to have to figure out how to do a mirror swap for my '10 when it arrives.

congrats.. whats up with the Ginormouse Mirrors, did u special order them or something.. im cluelesssssssssss.. but all in all car looks GREAT.

BTW i love that pink house, the view from the other side must be awesome.

BMW changed the design to comply with new European regulations.

the mirrors dont bother me too much, the only thing that im not liking is the cover for the cig lighter not there any more

we'll see if its something that i can get used to once i get mine but i might have to do something about that, looks so much cleaner w/ it

The mirrors don't look to bad from the side, but once you get to the front of the car they look awful. I am going to try to do a retro fit for the 08 and 09 mirrors. Going to look at junk yards, does not matter what color b/c i will put CF caps on them and yes no M Sport package.

I checked Real OEM. The outer cover shells and black ring plastic only run about $150 total for both sides of the car. The mirror glass for both sides is about $200 total. I'm hoping that the internal parts are the same and can be reused. If so, for about $350 in parts, that's not bad for a retrofit.

good info, if you do it, make sure to post a DIY for the rest of us w/ 2010, this is something i would wanna do also

Is it me or have they switched the position of the radio and the climate controls? My radio is at the top and my climate controls at the bottom. Also, the radio seems much simpler than mine. I have two knobs, one on the left and one on the right.

Not sure about climate control vs. radio position, but I think the single dial is because it is iDrive. No need for the second knob.

hmm is it me or does the center armrest look like it is covered in leather now instead of just that cheap leatherette??? maybe im wrong..any input?

its just u, haha...its because he has iDrive, mine is the same and mine is an 09 so...no changes. I believe if you dont get the iDrive its the other way around

Congrats! I saw your car on the lot waiting for pick up - kind of like a lonely pup at the pet store.

It's gonna seem like forever to hit 1200 mile break-in so you can open her up properly and then after that, for some reason or another, the miles will just pile on. Sometimes I could swear I just went to the store for some milk, I look at the odometer and wow, 2-300 miles and hours just somehow happened. Mystery mileage.
