BOV sticking open

I had an intercooler (Dinan) installed yesterday which felt amazing until I got an engine malfunction notification.
The car isn't holding nor building any boost as the Tial Q BOV sticks open the moment i take my foot off the throttle. (seems to be occurring regardless of RPM).
The recirculation hose feels as if its securely attached and doesn't sound/feel as if its leaking.
Has anyone ever experienced this?

is a quick rebuild of the BOV the best route to fix this issue?

clean it and lubricate the piston with some lithium grease.

Thanks Uber
but cleaning hasn't solved the problem.
Starting to think there is an issue with the intercooler install as the BOV opens on the first release of throttle and remains open until i shut the car off.

Intercooler install will have NOTHING to do with the operation of the BOV. If it's sticking open, it needs to be cleaned, and or replaced.

So the inlet and outlet pipes weren't correctly seated. Hence the lack of boost and BOV sticking open. BOOST IS BACK!!!
