Light out error after LED headlight install
I just finished installing Can-bus approved LED lights in my 2012 128i. I was told I shouldn't have an issue but I still do. I was told to order resister / decoder off Amazon but wondering if there is an easier way to fix the error code.
Thanks |

I had approved LEDs as well but kept getting errors and couldn't stand the noise from the car at every other light or when I turned the car on. The guy I ordered them from sent me new ones. No dice. I used Carly and turned the check off. Still getting error. I assume I need the hardware as well but did not want to deal with it anymore. Did you get it fixed? |

Strange, both things should work. I have LED bulbs in my tails, with no errors. Also have and use Carly and the things I ask of it, it does.

Never used Carly but used the BMW tools to code led bulbs. From memory there is a cold check on start and intermittent warm checks when driving. You need to code both off.
