Xenon lights for 130i

Hi all,

I am having trouble identifying the type of xenon bulb I need for my e87 130i.
The last one that went out cost me ~$500 at the dealers!!
I want to try and source one myself and get the local garage to fit it (I got scared off my the 50 mil Volts warning.

Does anyone know which model I'm looking for: D1 / H8?
Or where I can pick one up for cheap (<$100) ?
