A while back a friends brother died on this street a few blocks from my house. She told me that a "stupid fvcking idiot driving a car pulled out in front of him." I later found out that he was passing a car (double yellow lines) while doing 90 in a 35 and a person pulled out into the oncoming lane in front of the car he was passing. Completely blind to the car pulling out into the oncoming lane and the rider until it was too late.

True, I hadn't dissected the picture enough other than seeing a dent and a dead guy. My biggest fear (if we want to call it that), is intersections. Whether stopped or moving, it's prime real estate for an accident whether car or bike.

Cars/people are dangerous. I avoided riding next to anyone. Some people are complete animals and have zero regard for bikers too. I've been yelled at on the road and I've had guys try to get too close to make a point. Again, it was NYC. I'm better off not riding but down here, there are way less cars so I'm considering it again. It'll be a Z4MC or a bike but bikes will always be there, the coupes are scarce enough as it is.

My M2 has been rear ended twice now in Jersey. Luckily, it was at low speeds both times and the damage was too minimal to fix.
