Is there Dyno Results for BMW Performance Exhaust?
Curious to see the increased hp (if any) of a 128i with Performance Exhaust...
Any Concluded Dyno tests? |

Don't expect more than 3-4 hp at the most. The sound improves a bit, though (and perhaps the throttle response as well).

Having owned a celica and having ran an exhaust and injen cai in the past the claimed HP gains are true or close to true. They are not overall gains but if you look at the area under tthe curve you will most likely find taht 15hp gain somewhere in the rev band. I know that I did (of course this was back in 2001).
If we are talking a turbo charged vehicle here, without replacing the cats with no cats or high-flow you are not going to see a big gain with just catback exhaust. |
