Exhaust question

does anyone know if a supersprint exhaust section 2 can fit with a bmw performance muffler? And how it would sound?

I'm sure it can, you'll just want to go to an exhaust shop to have it fitted. As for sound, who knows, but I wouldn't do it for sound personally.

Wouldn't it also add a slight bump in power?

Is section 2 the secondary cat delete, ir the Y portion to the muffler? If it's the cat delete, yes - Y pipe to muffler...maybe?

Section 2 is a straight pipe and it's a good chunk of piping

I think that's the piece i have lol. It will fit to any stock or BMW performance 1 series exhaust, you just need a very small adapter pipe to accomdate the size of the piping. I have the 135i muffler on mine and a small (like 2" long) adapter piece had to be made to match up to the Supersprint Section 2 piece. It is definitely a large pipe, about 1/3 of the entire system not including the headers of course. I'd be interested to hear how it sounds with the performance exhaust. The 3 series guys get a resonator delete with the BMWPE, and we don't for some reason.

Yea there is a decent sound increase. Power wise, I don't know, maybe something at the top end? The bends are so much smoother so it's got to be moving the gases better . . .
