i have a white car, so the effects of the proper prep is really not worth it compared to a dark color... I use NXT 2.0 3 or so times a year, and my car looks comparable to my e92 (also in AW) that I zainod regularly.
yea he is expensive, but if you have a dark color, I would make certain the paint was getting sealed correctly shortly after delivery. To do the first prep correctly, you are talking about 8-10 hours of work... If you had to buy all the polishes and tools needed for the job, you would be around $100-$200, factor in the value of your time, and you are in the ballpark. I love cleaning my car, and the only time I ever paid a professional was when I owned a black accord years ago that would swirl up if you looked at it the wrong way. Never again with a black car, unless of course I had a garage and it wasnt a daily driver.

Why not give Phil at Detailer's Domain a call? I think he is located close to the top right corner of NJ close to the NY border. He's a sponser here and he never fails to impress me with his detailing posts/threads. http://detailersdomain.com/ Or you can PM Phil: DetailersDomain Here is one of Phil paint correction threads. He works on all makes of cars. But I think he does alot of German markes. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...tailers+domain Dackel |
