VDO Injectors??

ECS and FCP are selling Injectors that are made by VDO which I have heard is also the manufacturer of the BMW Injectors, for 50$ cheaper. I already have 3 index 12's and 3 index 10's

My question is if I should mix the VDO index 12's with the Genuine BMW index 12's

Thank you.

It's a $150 gamble. And for me, it's a no. If the VDO cost half of OE, then I'd say it's worth it. but $50/each ...

Now if you where doing all 6 at once, and buying FCP. Then I'd go for it.

Yeah your probably right, I already ordered them and installing them on Monday after class. I definitely should've done all 6 when index 12's were selling for 120 a pop on FCP.

I have the DME code of 30BE: plausible injector out of calibration, I have already calibrated them, so hopefully, this gets rid of it, and the injectors play well with each other.

The injectors are in, and they work well, my rough idle on startup with MHD cold start delete setting is gone, also the 30BE code is gone too. After the install, I reset the DME codes and took it for a test drive and got a 2AAF code for the fuel pump, which apparently isn't anything to be concerned about, based on other forum posts.

VDO makes injectors for BMW, so I don't really see a problem with mixing them, my index 12's and VDO 12's had the same part number.
