Lumbar w/o Premium Package as New Option?

I just got back from a local dealer (All Pro BMW in Gainesville). I asked if it was possible to get lumbar w/o getting the premium package. The sales rep wasn't sure, so he asked his boss, who said yes, it is possible. They speculated it could be a new option for 09MY. They said the price was $995, so I asked does that include lumbar AND power seats, and they said yes. Has anyone else heard this?

Haven't heard that, but the usabmw web page has the power seats option for $995. Doesn't mention lumbar as part of that option though.:iono:

And the accompanying power seat picture shows only a blanked out area where the lumbar controls would be.
Even on the 335i where power seats are standard, lumbar is shown as only available as part of the Premium Package.

You know you can get power sport seats w/ lumbar right? That's what I'm going with and really is the only seat I'll accept.
