the cost of 135i midpipe and a axelback/muffler that fits. plus custom labour to do the following
cut off 135i ends at manifold. weld on pipes that match 128i manifold diameters to mate, add flages --> matches the 128i exhaust ends. OR simply cut off 128i ends and mate them to 135i cut off ends ( destroys 128i full exhaust but cheaper). new OEM gaskets(15$ each) haul and store the 11 foot long one piece 128i exhaust

Obviously the better choice in exhaust. Headers should be the top mod for the n52. The costs and emission test worries hurt it these types of sales

There ARE a few advantages to living outside a SULEV state, headers and the (lack of the) CARB being two of them.
