-gloss black grills -IND gloss black M gills clear lense (on the way)! -15% tint all around -stock wheel finish -stock exhaust finish pretty uniform, strongly feel though that is an awesome and up to date alternative the actual m badge for the grill. I phone pic of my car below. Imagine what it would look like with the stripes as done above and let me know what you think! It is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Grill Striping - Keep it or Kill it?
To ensure keeping my options open, I made a grill with the stripes on the outside, as well as one with the stripes on the inside. IMO the stripes on the outer side look better, and will stay if I decide to keep the stripes all together.
Here are the couple of pics I took of the inside: Outer Side: What do you guys think? Keep it outer or kill it all together?

^^^awesome...as I was looking at the first pics I thought to myself, "hmmm, I wish he would have done this on the outer fins of the grill..." and then I saw the last pics. Keep them on the outer ones (close to the headlight), I'm not one for stickers but I actually think they look good.

Looks awful IMO. Very tacky and naff.
Why not just mount an "M" badge on the lower centre honeycomb grille?

Not bad, but I (not surprisingly) prefer what I did to my car.

If you want do something the M badge would be the best option IMHO, like the E30 M3, only without the 3 for obvious reasons of course....
It would be subtle yet powerful, just as it`s predecessor used to be......but in no way outdated...... |

Kinda off-topic, but does anyone know the names of the 3 colors used in the ///M striping (in case anyone wants to DIY)? Laguna Seca Blue, Le Mans Blue, Sedona red?

What about the circuit names used?
Quote:
Very cool! Also the names chosen for these colors are the names of world famous circuits dating back to the 70's Laguna Seca Blue - Laguna Seca Raceway Interlagos Blue - The Autódromo José Carlos Pace itself is still commonly called Interlagos, although this hasn't been its official name since the 1970s. Imola Red- The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari is an auto racing circuit near the Italian town of Imola. AKA The Imola Cicuit.
