There was only one option that for me was mandatory... and that was the sport package... the seats alone are worth it... the steering wheel is a bonus...I came from a fully loaded car and for me it was a waste of a cpl grand...navi= biggest waste of money compared to after market alternative
heated seats=when it is cold out I dress in layers with long johns on anyway.. by the time the seats were good and warm the heat was blasting anyway. Power seats=they suck.. way too slow. The list goes on and on... Everybody has there own special wants and needs so I am not knocking anyone's choices.. I just wanted to get back to basics with a car that looks gorgeous and performs even better. I prefer to be pampered with HP and Torque...

I ordered and optioned out my 325Ci back in 2002. I went with the bare minimum.
Sport package heated seats Xenons HK stereo No sunroof, no leather, no metallic paint, no goodies. This time I wanted to get a few more options that will make me enjoy the car even more, without going overboard. I tried to strike a balance between getting the things I really wanted and not get every option available. But, it is very personal as to what you think is worth it. Sport is must for many here. I miss not having a sunroof. The 135i has one standard, along with Xenons. I also took into account the fact that I will be keeping the car at least 5 years. I did not want to regret not getting that "one" option I was on the fence about. The only item I splurged on is the Terracotta leather. The interior looks so good in that color and I'm sick of the leathette I currently have. It started to develop cracks after 3 years. |

I agree. My friend's 2002 Subaru WRX has this. And for the 1 series, you have to buy the premium package to get it. Weak.
