Been to the dealership this morning to finalise the spec on my BSM and sign on the dotted line. Hi - possible 1M buyer.

Has any uk owner got one yet? Are they sold out? If I ordered now when could I get one?

I'm a bit confused about all the USB options - bluetooth telephone, audio etc. Is there a simple guide? Other than heated seats, prof nav, bt abs some way to connect your iPhone for tunes - what other spec is deemed essential?

If you spec Bluetooth then you can use you iPhone for both voice and music

My car has arrived and is being prepped ready for pick up on Saturday.

Will have the grills done now but not the spoiler yet (there may be a chance the 'individual' bits will include a 1M specific rear spoiler?).

I'm going to tyre kick tomorrow, c'mon!!!

WOW ... I have been to see mine today ... its amazing

The interior is fantastic. It was during its PDI, so I couldnt look at much, but I am very happy from what I did manage to see.

Ordered my black grills at the same time ... £29.17 each (I love no VAT).

Only a few more sleeps left!

Had an RS3 on order which is now cancelled and i have manage to get my hands on BMW 1M. Build date end of june and spec'd as follows:-

Alpine White
Sun protection glass
Ext. mirrors - folding, auto dimming
BMW Assist, Voice Control
Seat heating, front
Navigation-system Professional
Bluetooth phone prep + telematics
Loudspeaker system - harman kardon
USB Audio

This is my first BMW so i've joined the Dark side now

Ditto me, saw mine today, AW and BSM side by side, both looked excellent.

Despite knowing exactly how big the 1er is, I guess it appears more compact than I expected (not a bad thing) but the features (arches, wheels, front bumper) look more exagerated than I expected, very much a tonka car.

It has more presence than I expected, I def did the right thing buying a car only from photos.

Oh and the cold start sound just whets my appitite further, Saturday cannot come soon enough.

HAHA...knew that question would come. Had an S3 before so the RS3 was upgrade but the fact that Audi are unable to define build times kind of left me in limbo. Ordered in Jan and with original delivery in May but was then told last part of Q3.

I then decided why not give the BMW a try!

Mmmm. The configurator won't let me spec Prov Nav and 6NN - it will only let me pick the £535 bt option. It will still let me pick 6FL and the Telephone USB though - I guess these are needed too then? Getting on for £3k for decent Nav and iphone integration........ouch!
