Was it difficult to remove the cat?

This might be a great mod for N55 owners who want a cheap catless downpipe. However when going to delaer or returning to stock might get tricky.

AR DP + stock catback sounds best. No muffler is too much, Berk sounds too raspy and reminds me of lawn care equipment...

My friend ran his stock catless downpipe. Went from a 13.6 to a 13.2 and the car sounds mean!

If you're referring to the non fouler method. Yes it does work. I followed the ops instructions and I'm running the AR Design N55 downpipe using the drilled out non fouler on the secondary o2 sensor to prevent the check engine light. I have gone about 200+ miles now on it in various conditions without any problems.

Something to think about, especially if everyone dumped their converters.
I enhaled the Detroit Michigan Green bowl of air many years ago. Ok, so our air is clean. The pollution created elseware is 10 times worse than what it cleans up in the USA and we live on the same plant.

Power and Industry are the major polluters of the world, not automobiles. Efficiency allone can outperform the benefits of CAT in the relm of the global environment. If you through global dimming into the equation you may understand what I am talking about.

So I say dump all the CATs, they cause more harm than good.

Update? Still no CEL with the non-fouler method?

Question: Does the OEM only have those 2 O2 sensors (Pre-Cat), and middle? It looks like I could drill out the 2nd cat in the DP and would never need to worry about a CEL. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Here's what I mean for primary and secondary cats and O2 sensors...looks like there's not an O2 sensors after the 2nd cat, so it can be removed without the ECU picking up an issue and setting a CEL.

thoughts?
