No TCU/MULF Trunk
I purchased a 2011 135i coupe a few months back (non-nav & non-idrive). The car has Bluetooth and the auxiliary input, but neither work. I also keep getting an SOS error.
I jumped into the trunk recently only to find I have all of the wires for a MULF, but no actual unit. The radio, XM, and key fob all work without issue, so I'm a bit confused how the entire unit is gone but still has some functionality. It does look like two loops have been used on the green/black wire looms. I suppose my question is, would there ever be a reason the car would come without this module? |

Well, I've installed a TCU box and the bluetooth works again. However, my AUX and USB still don't work. I have all of the wiring for a MULF2 in the trunk, is the MULF2 required to run the AUX/USB? Or should I be hunting down a different issue now?
Car was optioned with AUX/USB. |
