replacement turbo choice for HPDE/autocross

One of my factory turbo's is starting to emit random smoke while I'm in grid, a tap of the throttle makes it stop. It's a significant amount of smoke until I blip the throttle.

On borrowed time now, so I'm considering 16T, 17T, 19T from viv or one of the other resellers.

Using 93 pump US gas, spraying meth, targeting 22-24 psi, full bolt on with relocated inlets and oulets and a upgraded lpfp. I spray about 1 gallon every 10 minutes when I'm at a track like VIR and run a tune that's got a bit more timing for the meth

anyone ran any of these turbo's on track or autocross? I'm a little worried the tip in to boost lag on the 19T will result in slower laptimes when I autocross.
