Just got a recall notice on my 2013 128 for defective PCV heater... but it says there is no remedy just as yet. Any one else get this recall.

Yes, it's been known about for a few weeks and many (most?) owners have received it - I got it for my E82 and my E91. They don't have a fix yet, or they have a fix but still need to work out the implementation plan.

Sit tight, drive your car, but keep an eye on (and a nose) for burning plastic.

I got my second notice from BMW Canada this week. It says they now have the parts, and to book an appointment.

I also got my second notice this week from BMW, saying they now have the parts and to book an appointment.

However, when I called BMW Toronto on Saturday they said BMW hasn't yet shipped the repair kits to them, so they're going to call me back once they've received the kits.

I am scheduled for the recall work on Saturday, and they indicated they need my car for 4 hours . . .

WFIW the actual service took around an hour, and I was only at the dealership for ~1 1/2 hours.

Good news- recall completed

Bad news- My oil pan gasket needs to be replaced. Seems like it should last longer than 60,000 miles. This doesn’t happen on Hondas, LOL

Got my 'remedy available' notice and booked appt for this Wed. morning.
Wife is going to tail me there, so didn't request a loaner. I plan to scout the lot and chit chat with the employees.
Bonus is they always wash it after service.
