need help. touchless carwash
Here is hoping that the 1 community can hook me up.
I'm on my way drom montreal to boston (waltham, ma). My car Is pounded with BUGS. I need to know of a touchless carwash in waltham, ma If anyone knows, please PM me the address. Ill get it on my blackberry. Sorry for a post like this, but googling didn't help. Seems there arnt many in The area. T |

do a search under service category (wherever you'd find bmw service centers - sorry, I don't remember exactly right now) and search for car washes. look for 'touchless' or 'laser wash' in the name. (only for nav, sorry) - If you have internet access, just google map it.

I woudl avoid touchless car washes, expecially if you have the shadowline trim on the outside. The chemicals in the soaps they use is very strong and will cause a discoloration on your trim much like a rainbow effect. I had this problem with the shadowline on my 545i and I will tell you ITS A BITCH to fix. Alot of elbow grease and Goo Gone might get it back to 50% of original finish.

touchless car wash
Touchless car washes (high pressure wash) is not recommended by BMW. Because of the frameless doors, water could get in through the seals. I had this happen to me when using an ordinary hose that I sprayed too close to the window.
