Airbag wiring recall

Has anyone had their car in for the airbag wiring recall work?

This recall seems to affect all E8x and E9x models, so must be quite extensive.

I see they're replacing about 8 parts as well! Anyone know what is involved?

Lyndhurst wanted my car booked in for two days; I point blank refused. They then agreed to just book it in for a day. From what I've been able to find on a search, it seems the actual work takes about 2 hours of technician time.

You can go to NHTSB website to check for recalls. Well... for US recalls.

Did not find any for my 2010 1-er... but there are two for the 2008's.

You can search a car for recalls here:
