I used Carpro Interior Leather Cleaner - and a soft brush to agitate the soap and pull up dirt. Clean cloth to wipe away the dirty soap. |

So are you able to solidly mount the spare somewhere?

The tire bag has velcro strips on one side, hoping this is enough to keep things stable. My fear is mainly about bumps (so tying this thing down). I have to see if I can work out some anchor points... if need be. |

Looks great! I will try Carpro on mine, even though it is black. Trouble with black is that it scratches and seems to get glossy with wear. I fixed the scratches with a coloring agent last weekend, and now on to the cleaning.

Yeah. My driver’s seat was a bit glossy.
Turns out to be mostly dirt/body oil, etc. cleaning them returned the seats to a matte factory finish. Last edited by Fishee; 05-10-2022 at 08:40 AM.. |

Replaced my leaking OFHG and while I was in there, the 'Mickey Mouse' coolant flange with an FCP aluminum unit, and flushed/replaced the 12-year old coolant. It took 6-gallons of water to flush and was still a very slight tinge of blue.

Took a job in CA and now I'm scrambling to get my car CARB legal. Anyone know if I'll get flack for a custom axel-back, BMWPI w/ silicone intake boot, or a 3IM tune?
If so, any recommendations for shady testing shops in the Irvine area? |

Also just found out you can only have up to 70% tint in CA? This state is whack. Running 40% sides and 90% windshield so I'm def keeping my SC plates until I can get a doctor's note. |

Pretty sure that's illegal in SC or any other state, how do you see? |

90% is the percent of visible light that passes through, so it's only a 10% reduction in this case. Doesn't impact visibility in any way. |

The tune and intake will give you problems, more so the tune since your sensors might not be ready.

Tore apart the passenger side dash that’s been rattling since the dealer serviced an airbag recall. I expected it to be horribly worse than it proved to be, just required contortionist maneuvers to loosen and retorque the airbag nuts themselves.
Carried the momentum through to install the Turner IAT relocation kit - absolutely simple. Followed that up with the BMS Cowl delete install - equally simple, but tedious. First autocross of the year this weekend - really looking forward to driving it as it was intended! Last edited by SKI-R; 05-12-2022 at 05:23 PM.. Reason: Autocorrect correction |

Installed the Performance exhaust. It was a shit show of rusted and broken nuts and bolts but I managed to get the job done. Thanks very much to Fishee for finding this NOS exhaust. It’s exactly how I wanted it to sound.
